Jeffrey Barton is a middle-aged dog working on learning some new tricks. He is highly food motivated. You may also call him Jeff.
As a writer, Jeff enjoys cooking up dark and thrilling stories marinated in humanity’s dreadful, squirmy, humorous, never-ending anxiety over universal meaninglessness and the absurdity of our existence, with a generous helping of compelling characters and settings, all seasoned with an absurd little thing called hope. He is currently working on his debut novel and building his author platform.
In his professional life, Jeff has spent more than two decades in IT management with a passion for cultivating creative breakthroughs that make work better for regular humans. He has spoken at conferences and led workshops. He is currently a leading advocate and enabler for User Centricity and Advanced Analytics at Mars Petcare.
He also enjoys pursuing entrepreneurial opportunities to improve the world. He is currently enrolled in the Ideator Program at the Wond’ry, Vanderbilt’s Center for Innovation and Design.
Jeff was born and raised in Northern California. He now lives with his wife, four sons, and his dog in Franklin, Tennessee.
